Junior Banking & Cash Officer

G4S, an Allied Universal ® company, is the world’s leading international security solutions group. We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Banking & Cash  Officer to join our Finance team in Metamorfosi.

In this role, you will report to the Finance Manager and handle the day-to-day flow of financial transactions, with a particular focus on bank guarantees and payment reconciliations.

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage daily bookkeeping tasks and process Accounts Payable/Receivable transactions

• Perform bank reconciliations and ensure all financial systems remain aligned

• Assist in the administration of the Bank Guarantee lifecycle (issuance, amendments, and cancellations) according to contract terms

• Keep our guarantee register up to date, tracking expiry dates and handling timely renewals

• Review and process vendor payments and employee expense reports

• Assist the team with monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reporting

• Look for ways to improve our current treasury and data entry processes

Skills and Qualifications:

• University degree (Bachelor’s) in Finance, Accounting, or Economics

• 1-2 years of experience in a similar accounting or treasury position

• Fluency in both Greek and English (written and verbal)

• Excellent use of MS Excel or Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, etc)

• Experience using ERP systems

• High level of accuracy and attention to detail

• Ability to stay organized and meet deadlines during busy month-end periods
